Imagine a world where dads are whipping up healthy pancakes for breakfast, moms are cheering at soccer practice, and kids are happily munching on millet cookies during homework time. This isn’t a fantasy; it’s the vision of Slurrp Farm, the pioneering millet-based food brand that’s turning the idea of modern parenting on its head. And with Bollywood star Anushka Sharma leading the charge, the brand’s flagship event, YES Moms & Dads, has set a new standard for what it means to raise happy, healthy kids together.

The Evolution: From YES Moms to YES Moms & Dads

It all began with the YES Moms community, launched last year by Slurrp Farm to create a space where mothers could connect, share, and support each other in the quest for healthier food choices for their children. In just one year, the community blossomed, adding 16,000 members across India. But as any good superhero story goes, this was just the beginning.

This year, Slurrp Farm donned a new cape by welcoming dads into the fold, transforming YES Moms into YES Moms & Dads. The goal? To grow the community to 50,000 members and make equal parenting the new norm. “At Slurrp Farm, we believe in shared parenting. Dads are stepping up, and we’re here to support them,” said Umang Bhattacharyya, Co-founder and Brand Director of Wholsum Foods. And just like that, the dynamic duo of moms and dads united to take on the ultimate challenge: raising happy, healthy kids while keeping mealtimes fun and nutritious.

Anushka Sharma: The Super-Mom on a Mission

Enter Anushka Sharma, Bollywood star, mom, and a real-life super-parent. As an investor and brand ambassador for Wholsum Foods, Anushka isn’t just lending her name to the cause; she’s all in. “Being a part of a community that influences such meaningful change makes me proud to be part of Slurrp Farm. They get what kids love and what parents need,” she said, reflecting on her own parenting journey.

Anushka’s presence at the event was like a rallying call for all parents. In her signature style, she emphasized the importance of balance – balancing the demands of parenting, balancing nutritious food with kids' taste buds, and most importantly, balancing the parenting load between moms and dads. If Slurrp Farm is the superhero brand of healthy food, Anushka Sharma is its super-mom, ready to save the day with a millet cookie in one hand and a nutrition guide in the other.

Behind the Capes: The Superwomen of Slurrp Farm

At the heart of Slurrp Farm are three real-life superheroes : Meghana Narayan and Shauravi Malik, and Umang Bhattacharyya, the co-founders of Wholsum Foods. They started the brand in 2016 when they couldn’t find nutritious, convenient food options for their own kids. Today, they’ve grown it into a powerhouse with over 55 SKUs and a presence in 10 countries. But it’s not just about the numbers; it’s about changing the narrative around kids' nutrition and making it easier for parents to make better choices.

Despite being the brains behind the brand, they still get surprised reactions when people realize it’s not the male co-founder running the show. But Meghana and Shauravi are more than up to the task. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to make the best version of what you’d make in your own kitchen available on store shelves. And with Anushka Sharma by their side, they’re taking this mission to new heights.

The Future of Equal Parenting: It’s a Team Effort

So, what’s next for Slurrp Farm and the YES Moms & Dads community? With plans to expand their product line and reach even more parents across the globe, the brand is just getting started. Their vision for the future is clear: a world where healthy eating is the norm, where dads are just as involved as moms, and where every parent feels supported and empowered in their parenting journey.

As the event came to a close, there was a palpable sense of excitement and hope. Anushka Sharma summed it up best: “We’re creating a community that’s not just about feeding kids but about raising them together, in the best way possible.” And with that, Slurrp Farm took another step forward in their quest to change the world, one millet bite at a time.
